Projects currently supported by CLCP
Tiggers Toddlers aims to create an informal, fun and safe environment in which children can enjoy playing with different toys and activities, whilst the parents and carers have a chance to chat and enjoy a coffee! A large selection of toys is available and they are used on a rota basis. Also incorporated is craft work, stories and singing.
Other events are organised throughout the year such as end of term parties, summer outings and a mum's night out!
Toddlers runs every Wednesday during term time from 9.45-11.15am
Energy is a fun-filled 'Sunday School' for primary school children - with a difference! We teach Christian values, making sure the children have loads of fun, games and loud songs to join in with.
Energy runs on the first Sunday of the month from 10am
Cafe 12 is a community cafe open from 10am until 2pm Tuesdays to Fridays offering low cost quality food.
Whilst the cafe is open we have a number of different activities aimed at offering support to the community.
A confidential listening service for anyone feeling alone or stressed.
Every Wednesday 10am to 12pm, an opportunity to join others who love board games.
One to one appointments offering advice and support, Fridays 10am -2pm. Drop in also available
A drop in on Fridays for men and womens truggling with drug or alcohol addiction who want to be free.
Pavilion English school.
Beginner and intermediate classes during the week.
A free cimema showing of a recent childrens film, once a month on Saturdays at 1pm. Tuck shop open
Uganda - we sponsor young children on a monthly basis to help them obtain primary education which they would otherwise not have.
Mozambique - we support a worker from Reading who is working among abandoned babies and the poor of Maputo.
